The two managing directors Oliver Wenzel and Stephan Westermann already knew each other from their time working together in a sealing technology trading company, where one had trained the other as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant. The sealing professionals already knew each other well and knew that starting their own business with their complementary expertise in the market was a good plan. This is also underlined by the company’s steady growth, including the acquisition of Pro Seal in 2017, whose former Managing Director Frank Pfefferkorn is now responsible for sales at Apollon as a senior employee. The three of them alone bring 100+ years of professional experience in the field of sealing technology.
